Getting GP-S in your area

We have a number of different options to help any UK area and professional group set up and/or run their own local peer mentoring and coaching services using a proven blueprint.

Our unique offer not only provides a mentoring and coaching scheme but also upskills those who wish to become mentors. Offering training, ongoing support and access to resources to build their roles as peer mentors.

Our mentors are also local to areas or professional groups meaning they have an understanding of what happens locally and can signpost to local resources. Using our models of support saves time, money and ensures a great service for mentors and clients. Each model provides access to our secure online portal, providing the engine room for mentoring with each mentor having their own unique login.

We currently have two set models of support for areas wishing to explore working with GP-S.

The Hub and Spoke Model

This model provides all round support for the day to day running of your local mentoring service. This model is great if you don’t have a service locally but would like one and have low budgets, limited time to spend on a project start up or are unsure where to start. It’s also great for already running services who feel they’d benefit from additional support and a move away from managing the service in house. It provides access to everything to get you up and running using our tried and tested model of support.

You can bespoke the package to include any of the following items:

  • Access to the trusted GP-S logo and branding.
  • Access to full policies and processes including handbooks for mentors and clients personalised to your service.
  • Centralised call and email handling for clients and mentors.
  • Access to GP-S 2 day initial training and assessment course for mentors at additional cost.
  • Built in support from the admin team and GP-S Service Manager including regular meetings to assist with launches, marketing, mentor support and statistics.
  • Access to additional CPD and peer support sessions for mentors to enable them to develop at additional cost.
  • Access to additional mentor support if required.

Plus full access to your own local site on our secure online portal which can:

  • Enable each user to have their own secure login and no one can see what they don’t need to including client information.
  • Track client progress and adding in mentoring sessions.
  • Track mentor feedback and learning needs.
  • Track client feedback.
  • Track demographic and statistical information about your service.
  • Raise and track invoices for mentor time if required.
  • Store and update mentor availability.
  • Store important documents which can be sent to clients directly or be of use to mentors.

The Portal Only Model

The portal only model is a stripped back version of support for areas offering access to the intellectual property of the portal for 1 year at a time. We will then enable you to work directly with our portal developer to set up an identical portal for your own scheme (developers fees will apply).

This is great for areas who already have a service running but would like infrastructure support without having to invest in research, development and set up costs. GP-S will not provide any administrative or ongoing support. As with above, this model will give you the intellectual property access to the portal and the following elements for 1 year:

  • Track client feedback.
